MAKONDE PRINCE CHAIR

A unique antique wooden chair hand carved by the Makonde tribe in the southern coastal region of Tanzania, originally created specially for a boy of royal lineage. Similar items are often burned after use, making this a supremely rare piece, circa 1890-1900.
